BSEB 12th Science Preparation 2026: Covering the entire BSEB 12th Science syllabus is the key to obtaining the desired score in the BSEB 12th Science Exams.   • Design a Study Plan: Create a balanced study plan by allotting time for numerical and theory. Take time to analyse and figure out the strong and weak areas. This helps with board exam preparation. 
  • Create chapter wise notes: Write notes while attending the class. It makes revision easier. 
  • Understand and learn the concepts: Physics requires a clear understanding of the fundamentals. Get your basics right. Memorise the formulae and understand the way to apply it. 
  • Solve Problems: To master the numerical section, practice solving previous years’ question papers, especially numerical. You can use reference books for this too. This practice would help you understand your weaknesses. 
  • Revise: Make sure to revise essential formulae and chapters before the exam. Brushing up the topics helps. 
  • Master the Textbook: The syllabus of BSEB is based on the textbook. So, be thorough while reading the textbook. It helps in answering technical questions. Regularly practice solved examples and numerical given in the textbook.
  • Derivations: Focus on solving the derivations as it is an integral part of physics. Chapters like Light and Electricity are essential. Develop a habit of stepwise solving the problems to attain a good score. For an excellent recap, maintain another diary for formulas.
  • Do not succumb to peer pressure: Speed of learning differs for every student. The method of learning is different for every student. So, follow your own pace. Just make sure you finish tough topics first and easy ones later.

BSEB Class 12 Science Preparation Tips 2026 for Biology

  1. Study difficult topics of biology in groups – Discussing topics help you understand them better. So, when you are a little tired of studying alone, join a group of sincere students and discuss difficult topics in that group.
  2. Attempt regular tests – Be it in the coaching classes or in private tuitions, regular tests help students identify their preparation level. Attend such tests as they not only help you prepare well but will also boost your confidence.
  3. Draw diagrams wherever you can – Biology is incomplete without diagrams. raw diagrams even when the question does not demand it. Neat and well-labelled diagrams create a good impression, show your in-depth knowledge on the subject and help you explain a topic in better.
  4. Prepare short questions and long questions separately for Biology – Certain topics need detailed answers. For example – the process of sexual reproduction uses of biotechnology. Prepare these topics in detail so that you know how to frame an answer to the required length. Short questions should also be prepared and practised similarly.  
  5. Stick to general reading habits every day – Biology is a subject of regular reading. You do not have to sit at your study table in order to learn things. Instead, adopt the habit of regular reading that can be done comfortably even when you are resting. 
  6. Prepare your own charts – Charts are great tools for the preparation of BSEB Biology. Be it the ecosystem or energy flow charts make it easier to understand. Hence, prepare your own charts.
  7. Read with interest – Always keep your spirits high and read with full interest. When you start taking an interest in Biology, it won’t feel like a burden!

BSEB 12th Exam Pattern

According to the BSEB 12th Exam Pattern, the BSEB 12th exams have 50% multiple-choice questions, carrying 1 mark each. Subjects having both theory and practicals will only have 35 MCQ in the theory paper. The total exam duration is 3 hours and 15 minutes.
